Denzel Kelly Great album! Love the show and this is a great companion piece to the Fifth Doctor. Favorite track: I Would Crash This Ship To Save My Friend.

Milo Bloom One of my favorite episodes leads to one of my favorite albums. Worth a listen for any Doctor Who fan as well as any fan of well-written electronic music. Favorite track: I Would Crash This Ship To Save My Friend.
Philip Quinton
Philip Quinton thumbnail
Philip Quinton This is an emotional millennial musical interpretation of one of the finest classic Doctor Who stories ever produced for TV. It gets right inside the skin of the characters and adds depth to the story by expressing (musically) their thoughts and feelings during the events of the story. Truly inspired album. I would love to see this performed live. I would love to hear more albums as well but it sounds as though a lot of time, money and talent has gone into making this album for charity. Favorite track: Anywhere In The Universe.

I only met you yesterday Now you’re taking me on a trip To the farthest reaches of the galaxy I didn’t think it would be like this Don’t think i’ve seen such a godforsaken place Nothing around but rocks and mud If this is what it’s like to be in outer space I’d like to go back home thank you very much Is there anywhere in the universe pleasant we could go? is there anywhere in the universe pleasant we could go? You told me when we left you’d keep me free from harm But nothing has been further from the truth Maybe i fell in love with your smile and charm It made me want to put my faith in you

Spectrox 03:30
What would you do to live forever? What would you give to live forever? How much would you pay to live forever? Who would you pray to to live forever? Take it, come on Take it, come on For you, for you It’s all for you What would you do to live forever? What lie would you tell to live forever? And who would you leave to live forever? What would you hide to live forever? What would you do to live forever? Who would you cheat to live forever? And what would you burn down to live forever? Who would you kill to live forever? Live forever Live forever Would you destroy the whole wide world? The moon above and the planets near Give up laughing, life and love To live forever, live forever Live forever, live forever

Work For Me 02:50
I own the streets and the sky above I own the box that you live in I own the air that you breathe I own your husbands, wives and children Everybody in my pocket Money in my hand You’d be surprised What it can buy The world's so beautiful Sun so bright On a warm summer day you might Think you were free Really you work for me What it gift it is to be me All powerful, influential Everybody knows me And everybody loves me You think you’re fighting me But really you work for me Think you control me But really you work for me Think I’m your enemy But really you work for me Really you work for me You work for me

Pay For This 04:25
How did you come to end up here? Among the men who fight for right and never fear It’s obvious you’ve never been Someone that anyone could trust You must You must You must be You must be on the side of the machines Can't you see just what that does to me inside When I'm down here fighting for my life Lost so many friends, so many lives Doing what we can just to survive Don’t what we’re fighting for Anymore But you picked the wrong side You’re gonna pay for this No matter what you say You’re gonna pay for this No matter what you say How could you do this? How could you be this way? Doesn’t matter what you say say say say We’d like to get to know you well Inflict a little pain and see what comes of it Then maybe you could tell us why We just can’t win Maybe then we let you die On second thought A shot A single shot Right to your head and then into your friend Maybe she’s innocent More innocent then you Sometimes the innocent die too

Is It Wrong? 04:09
Is it wrong to be afraid 'Cause if I’d known I might have stayed behind Is it wrong to be afraid If you'd told me I might have stayed Where i was Should have never fallen Back into your arms Don’t you trust me, friend, I’m doing what I can Its the best I can do right now, just take a breath and rest Why should I have to tell you not to be afraid? I’d never let it end this way End this way Let me think it through, I’m trying to make sense Of everything we’ve been through, how we got into this mess Why should I have to tell you to trust me when I say I’d never let it end this way End this way

Can you see who I used to be? Do you see beneath my mask? There used to be much more to me Than this I was the talk of the world The most celebrated Power and glory, decorated I had everything anyone could want Beauty and riches all around me Smiling faces all surround me Look again what do you see Not much of me Stay with me Beauty I must have you Stay here with me Here with me With me With me Gave it all up just to survive Traded beauty for my life Nothing left of who I was Just black and white and angry eyes Deceived, betrayed, burned and broken Still alive, but not the same Disfiguration, pain and shame I can never be the same, never be the same I can never be the same, never be the same To see you here fills me with regret All this time I tried to forget How much I loved the life I had So stay Please stay Stay

Stotzy 03:20
Just because I double-deal You might think I’m evil Just because I kill You might think I'm dirt Just because I steal You might think I’m desperate I never did anything You wouldn’t have done Get your gun Get your gun We’re going Everybody Wants to be somebody Everybody Wants to be someone yeah How you gonna get your fame? Make your fortune? How you gonna get what’s due to you Get even? Is it worth the pain you’ve gone through? A little bit here and there What if we never had to come back here? Get your gun Get your gun We’re going

Here Alive 04:17
It’s always good to see you friend Have a drink, you'd best sit down This is hard say and hard to hear Everyone’s trying take you down But you’re safe right here You look so young It’s such a shame…. You stood against me in every way... You thought you'd catch me in my lies I’d have to be a fool To let you leave here alive Here alive It’s always good to see you friend You’re looking well, as well as can be For a man about to leave this world What do I mean? Wait and see You look so young It’s such a shame You stood against me in every way You thought you'd catch me in my lies I’d have to be a fool To let you leave here alive Here alive It’s always good to see you friend You’ve come so far, you reached the top They can't take that away from you, it’s been a long way up But it’s long way down Way down, Way down, way down, way down
12.
I would crash this ship to save my friend I would crash this ship to save my friend You can try Try to stop me No matter what you’re going down with me I will crash this ship to save my friend I would crash this ship to save my friend I would crash this ship to save my friend We might die All be torn to pieces No matter what I still have promises to keep I will crash this ship to save my friend We’re going back Back from where we came We’re going back And I don’t blame you For thinking I should die And maybe I will We’re going back Back from where we came We’re going back And I wouldn’t blame you For thinking we’ll fall Maybe we all will It’s too late We’re on our way down Maybe I’ll see you on the ground I will crash this ship to save my friend

Just like a man No not just a man A powerful man You think that no one's watching What you do Just a like a man Like a powerful man You thought that I could never Win against you I’ve taken Everything Your houses, your money Your friends in high places Your privilege and power Everything What was yours is mine What was yours is mine Is mine Is mine Is Just like a man Like a powerful man, to think I don't deserve All that I got from you Just like a man Like a powerful man You never dreamed I'd turn against you You thought you were a man A powerful man But it was an illusion Thought you were a man Thought you were special But now you’re no one Let me lay this out Everything you had is gone Everybody wants you But not the way you want them to
14.
Look At Me 03:52
I asked for them to bring your head to me I’d have given anything for it to be But here you are Still breathing Here you are If I'd known you’d live I’d never have betrayed you I thought you’d die, quick and without pain But here you are Still fighting Here you are Look at me, Look what you’ve done to me Remember when you were a friend to me? Look at me, Look what you’ve done to me What have you done to me What have you done I’ve been waiting years to have you here Always thought you’d come to me in pieces But here you are Speaking to me Here you are I’m here to finish what I started then I came to take it all and leave you here for dead It seems to me I owe you that at least And when I get my hands around your neck I’ll never let you take another breath I’ll see you die If it’s the last thing I see I’ll see you die What have you done to me What have you done

I had a dream that I'd grow old with you That you and I would never die I can see it clearly Clear as I see now How wrong I was I see my friends, I see my enemies A million lives a thousand faces reaching out for me Are you there with them Or are you here with me? You mean everything to me Is his death? I see the end is coming If this is death I want to know you'll be alright Is this the end The final breath I breathe My friends are calling out to me Everyone lives Everyone dies Everyone changes Once in while If I do I hope that I will see you On the other side Goodbye Goodbye Goodbye

The Caves is a 16-track album based on an iconic piece of British Sci-Fi television from 1984 featuring a pair of time-travellers, a masked rebel, a powerful businessman and a mysterious substance with the power to extend life or end it.

The Sevateem's Christian Erickson has been an obsessive fan of a certain British sci-fi television show involving "timey-wimey stuff" since age 13. "The Caves" is an homage to his all-time favorite episode and is presented in the form of a "rock opera" - with various singers taking on the role of different characters in the story.

All proceeds from streaming and sales will benefit Doctors Without Borders. We believe art has value and that artists should be able to profit from their creations – or pay that value forward. We've chosen to do the latter and will be supporting DWB/MSF with this project. No real-world organization comes closer to the heroics of our favorite fictional Doctor – going into unspeakably harsh situations to offer health and hope to people. We will give regular updates about how much we've raised and donated.
